Title Emergency Expert Seminar Held on the 2025 Approved Japanese High School Textbooks

On the morning of the 27th at 10:00 AM, the Northeast Asian History Foundation held an “Emergency Expert Seminar on the 2025 Approved Japanese High School Textbooks” in its 11th-floor main conference hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Hosted by the Foundation's Textbook Research Center, the seminar reviewed the results of the Japanese high school textbook screening process for materials to be used starting in 2026 for first-year students.
The textbooks under review included 11 titles for General History, 7 for General Geography, 12 for Public Affairs, and 1 for Politics and Economics.
Presentations were delivered by Foundation researchers Hanmin Park and Jungae Park.
Panel discussions featured contributions from Shinchul Lee and Hyein Han (Institute for East Asian Peace and History), as well as Kyungmi Lee, Joonsang Ryu, and Youngwook Jeon (research fellows from the Foundation).
