International Symposium on Japan´s Annexation of Korea, 100 Years Later

Ahead of the centenary of Japans forcible annexation of Korea in 1910, the Northeast Asian History Foundation holds an international symposium on "Reexamining the Legal Validity of Japan''s Annexation of Korea from the Perspectives of International Law" at the Conference Room on June 22 (Mon).

 

 

 

Renowned experts from Korea, Japan, the United States and France are expected to participate in the event to reexamine the legal validity of Japan''s forced annexation of Korea in 1910 from the perspectives of history, diplomacy and international law.

 

 

 

The symposium consists of three sessions and a comprehensive discussion/debate and each session features following presenters and theme.
